In REAL FEELINGS, Zarina Nares creates a room suspended between sincerity and simulation. Behind a curtain lies an enclosed space containing four looped video works, AI-generated wall pieces, and a leather chaise lounge. Together, these elements draw on the visual language of therapy, self-help, and algorithmic wisdom.

Mining the emotional aesthetics of TikTok and AI-generated YouTube videos, Nares traces how belief moves through repetition, performance, and code. Against the backdrop of strangers becoming oracles and machines speaking like healers, REAL FEELINGS dwells in the slippage between what’s artificial and what still reaches us as real.

Rather than resolve the contradictions, the show lets them hum—the longing for meaning, the impulse to doubt, the possibility that even something written by no one and fed to many can feel like it was meant to find you.
